Isle of Skye

Hello Reader,

So, being a ‘northerner’, I currently find myself north of north, in glorious Scotland, on the slightly wet and rainy, Isle of Skye.

I’m a true believer that travel, and by association, adventure, feeds the soul and inspires the mind. This statement couldn’t be more true of how I feel about my time spent on this vividly verdant island, surrounded by scenic shorelines, and encased by what anywhere else would feel like an oppressive cover of cloud, but somehow here it seems to provide an ever present protective blanket of drama, depth, and more shades of calming grey, than can be found in the hit series by E. L. James.

Another element found in abundance here, is inspiration. So much so, my cup runneth over. When you wake up to views like these everyday, how could it not.

If you too class yourself a writer, then please, make it your mission to one day travel and explore this inspirational island. I promise you this, you will not regret it.
